I think it is safe to say, and with out doubt- Rottnest Island is incredibly beautiful.

Rottnest Island may even be one of my favourite islands I have ever visited, (to be fair, I haven’t visited many Australian Islands) however, we have attached a little video of our journey on the island for you to see yourself.

We purchased the van of Facebook Market Place, after searching and searching online for a good few weeks. We had even thought about traveling to Sydney and driving back home to Adelaide if we could find a van we liked there. This particular camper van, now Antonia, kept popping up and catching our eye.

The Nullarbor Plain is a latin word for ‘no trees’, and fuck me its boring. 
We were advised by many of Australians crossing the Nullarbor to take lots of water, fuel and snacks. And we did! However we hadn’t thought about the ways to entertain ourselves on the weeks journey from Adelaide to Perth.

Ok it wasn’t that bad, but it was mind numbingly boring, for me anyway. Charles seemed to enjoy his new manual role and we did complete our 88 days!

I wouldn’t even know where to start with explaining exactly what our roles consisted of, other than occasionally being shouted at for talking.
